How buying works.

Sew True, a one-person shop that sews fabric bows, sweatshirts and small goods by hand. Email sewtrue26@gmail.com with any question about an order.

Pieces go on sale in dated drops. A drop can be seen before it opens, but nothing in it can be bought until the posted opening time.

Most pieces are one of one. When one sells it is gone, and there is never a second run.

Putting a piece in your basket does not reserve it. Starting checkout holds it for up to 30 minutes while you pay. If the checkout is not finished in that time, the piece goes back on the shelf.

Prices are in US dollars. The price on the page is what you pay for the piece; shipping is added at checkout.

Payment is by card through Stripe, which handles your card details. Sew True never sees your full card number. Your order is placed when the payment goes through and Stripe emails you a receipt.

Flat $6 shipping anywhere in the US. Orders ship to US addresses only.

After your order, we follow up by email with a ship date.

Every piece is final sale. No returns and no exchanges. Each piece is cut and sewn by hand for its drop and never remade, so there is nothing to swap it for.

If a piece arrives damaged, or is not what the listing said it was, email the shop within 7 days of it arriving, with a photograph, and we will put it right with a repair, a replacement or a refund.

The photographs, designs and words on this site belong to Sew True. Please don’t reuse them without asking. Sharing a link is always welcome.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. An order is covered by the terms that were on the site when it was placed.
